1. Venue Hire Prices (2028)

Weekend Weddings (Friday–Sunday)

Our most popular option — enjoy the full festival-style experience.

Closed in October 2028.

What’s included:

• Exclusive use of the venue (at all hours) from Friday morning at 9am to Sunday afternoon at 3pm
• All furniture (tables, chairs, benches, oak barrels, chill-out furniture etc.)
• All lighting & power including fairy lights inside the Tipis and Festoon lights outside
• Fully integrated sound system including microphones for speeches
• Heating, Fire Pits and all fuel
• On-site parking
• Toilets
• Showers and small getting ready room
• Shepherd’s Hut Wedding suite
• Free camping for guests (see below)

Midweek Weddings (Tuesday–Thursday)

Perfect for smaller budgets without compromising the setting.

Closed in October 2028.

What’s included:

• Exclusive use of the venue (at all hours) from Tuesday at midday to Thursday at midday
• All the same inclusions as weekend hire
• Excellent value for couples with flexible dates

2. Catering Costs (Typical Ranges)

Hadsham is a dry-hire venue, giving you complete freedom to choose the catering that suits your style and your budget. And we’ll be very happy to make specific recommendations once we’ve chatted with you.

To help with planning, here are realistic costs we’ve seen from past weddings:

Street Food & Trucks

• Wood-fired pizza, Hog-Roast, basic BBQ, fish & chips, Paella etc
• £15–£30 per guest

Sharing Feasts / Bowl Food

• Rustic platters, grazing tables, premium BBQ, mezze
• £35–£60 per guest

Premium Seated Dining / Premium Wood-fired Sharing Feasts

• 2–3 courses formal / semi-formal dining
• £60–£100 per guest

3. Drinks Options

Hadsham Farm Weddings will be providing an in-house bar from 2028 and a minimum spend will apply. You are more than welcome to bring your own drinks (BYO) for the daytime reception and during the meal. Full details of the in-house bar terms are available on request.

Bring Your Own (No Corkage!)

• £0 corkage
• Supply your own drinks for the reception, meal and toasts
• Perfect for keeping costs down

In-house Bar Service

• Cash bar with minimum spend requirement.
• Typically will provide the drinks service after the wedding breakfast until close.
• Can provide reception, meal and toast drink packages or just serve yours
• Tokens for cocktails as wedding favours
• Pre-paid tabs available
• Guest-paid drinks – perfect for keeping the costs down

4. DJs, Bands & Entertainment (Typical Costs)

Based on our recommended suppliers (some DJs also offer live elements e.g. sax, percussion, vocals).

• Ipad Playlist: £0
• DJ Friends: £0-£250 to hire decks to plug into our system if you don’t have any
• Professional DJs: £500–£1,000
• Bands: £1,000–£2,500
• Acoustic musicians: £300–£700

5. On-Site Accommodation

We offer a mix of 12 x lakeside bell tents, a shepherd’s hut wedding suite, and free camping – turning your celebration into a mini-holiday with friends and family.

Lakeside Bell Tents

• £160 per tent in 2027; £170 in 2028
• 2-night stay (Fri–Sun or Tue–Thu)
• King-sized  bed sleeps 2, but with room for airbeds if guests want to bring them
• Bedding, lighting & furnishings included
• Guests book and pay directly with us, so no cost to you

Wedding Suite (Shepherd’s Hut)

• Included in the Venue Hire
• King-sized bed, ensuite toilet and shower
• 2-night stay for the couple
• Positioned with lake views

Free Camping (Bring Your Own Tent or Campervan)

• Completely free for your guests
• Tents in the camping area, campervans in the car park
• With your permission as the couple
• Great for festival-style celebrations

Toilets, showers and small getting-ready room included within venue hire

Example 1: 100 guests — Street Food Mid-Week Wedding (Budget-Friendly)

• Venue hire (April): £6,250
• Catering @ £15-30/head: £1,500 -£3,000
• Evening food – guests buy their own pizza or burger for example @ £0/head: £0
• Drinks (DIY) – Reception Drink x 2 and ½ bottle wine PP @ £8-£12/head: £800 – £1,200
• Hadsham Cash Bar: £0
• Ipad or DJ Friends: £0
• Bell tents (optional): £160-£170 each
• Free camping: £0

Example 2: 100 guests — Premium Seated Dining Weekend Wedding

• Venue hire (July or August): £13,450
• Catering @ £60 – £100/head: £6,000 – £10,000
• Drinks (DIY) – Reception Drink x 2 and ½ bottle wine PP @ £8-£12/head: £800–£1,200
• Hadsham Cash Ba: £0
• Cash Bar Cocktail Token: £0 – £1,000
• Pre-paid Bar Tab: £0 – £2,000
• DJ/Band: £1,000–£2,500
• Bell tents (optional): £160-£170 each

7. Additional Costs

Remember, these costs are in addition to the main ‘party’ elements and many CAN be done on a DIY basis for nothing IF you have the skills, time and inclination.

• Amateur Celebrant – can be your best friend or a beloved member of your family and you’d write your own vows – £0
• Professional Celebrant: £500 – £1,000
• Decorations – DIY – surely this is part of the reason you’d be choosing Hadsham – get your family and friends involved! – £0 – £500 in materials.
• Decorations – for instant impact and for far less than hiring them in from elsewhere, use Hadsham’s on-site Prop Shop – eco-friendly too – £75 – £900
• Flowers – DIY – get your friends and family to cut their gardens for you and then spend part of the setting up day arranging them – £0
• Hadsham Farm Flowers – order fresh seasonal buckets of mixed flowers and foliage from our flower field and arrange them yourselves – £60 a bucket. Or ask us to create bespoke arrangements and installations for you – e.g. bridesmaids’ bouquet for £40 to half a moongate arch for £450.
• Professional Florist – £500 – £5,000 and beyond.
• Photographer – £1,500 – £2,500
• Hair & Make-up – Bride £400; Bridesmaid £100
• Wedding attire, IF you’re going formal – Dress £900 – £2,500+ to buy; Suits £80 – £180 to hire
