We can’t get over Kate and Angharad’s incredibly sunny June wedding at our Cotswold tipi venue. From the rainbow bright styling to the cutest doggy special guests, it was an epic day packed with colour and personality. Can we do it all over again? The festival-style Cotswold tipi wedding venue
Our awesome brides fell in love with Hadsham Farm Weddings on sight. Tucked away in the prettiest corner of Oxfordshire countryside, our stylish tipi is the coolest all-weather reception and disco space for couples who want to do things a little differently for their wedding. Kate and Angharad made the most of the outdoor space, filling it with garden games and a prosecco van to keep all their guests happy, while the tipi was transformed into a colour-pop dream. Love. It. All.
The sunny outdoor wedding ceremony
The June weather gods thankfully got the memo, and the sun was out in force for our gorgeous couple’s outdoor ceremony. It was blue skies as far as the eye could see, as Kate and Angharad made their way, hand in hand, to Hadsham Farm’s beautiful lakeside ceremony space, along with their bridesmaids and dogs of honour.
In front of their closest friends, family and VIPs (that’s Very Important Pets, FYI) the brides exchanged their vows in an emotional ceremony, before being absolutely covered in biodegradable confetti, as is tradition! Kate and Angharad, along with their guests, walked back around the lake to the tipi where the prosecco van was ready and waiting to get the party started.
Cool, colour-pop wedding reception styling
We love seeing how our Hadsham Farm Weddings couples put their own spin on our spacious tipi venue, and we’re obsessed with Kate and Angharad’s rainbow bright styling. Vibrant festival flags lined the pathways outside, while colourful bunting and wedding signs decorated the outside of the tipi.
Inside, tables were lined with colour-pop posies of wildflowers in miniature jars tied with bright ribbon. The card box was decorated with paper palm leaves, the guest book was embroidered with vivid florals, and bright bubble wands were left out for guests to help themselves.
After the delicious sharing feast, Kate and Angharad’s guests made the most of the sunshine, drinking cocktails, enjoying a competitive game of tug of war and generally having the best time ever on the space hoppers. Good vibes, all round.
Golden hour and party time
Hadsham Farm at golden hour is something else. Kate and Angharad made the most of the beautiful sunset by heading out with their photographer for some truly gorgeous couple shots. Taking a moment for themselves before the evening party kicked off, they took our rowing boat for a spin out on the lake as the sun began to go down.
Then it was time to cut the multiple cakes (our kind of wedding), before hitting the dancefloor. With live music, cocktails, face painting, smoke flares and sparklers, it was the wedding party to end all wedding parties.
